KM Institute Launches New Virtual Training Program
Leverages Cutting-edge Virtual Conferencing
Washington DC (September 16, 2008) -
The International Knowledge Management Institute (KM Institute), the leading educational institute in Knowledge Management (KM), today announced a new training program using state-of-the-art virtual conferencing technology. The popular "KM Essentials" online program will be complemented by live "mentoring sessions," broadcasted to a global audience using multi-point video conferencing over the internet.
"We are very excited to deliver the KM Essentials
program in a live/virtual format," says KMI
Chairman, Douglas Weidner. "Finally, students
who previously could not join us in class can
simply log in and get the best of both worlds:
a live class blended with cutting-edge e-Learning.
"No other KM training organization is doing this,"
added Weidner, "we are proud to pioneer this new
format with high-quality, just-in-time training our
customers have come to expect."
The virtual program will consist of the "KM
Essentials" 2-day course, delivered in e-Learning
with live "mentor sessions" with the instructor.
There will be several sessions from which to choose (am or pm). Class schedules will posted online soon.
KM Essentials is listed at US$1,195 - same cost for all three available formats: in-class, e-Learning, or virtual (note the "virtual" format combines eLearning with live conferencing).
