Aware Level

Mostly tactical, but essential startup phase.  Provide a convincing story of coming transformation to create a ‘sense of urgency’.  Give proof that KM is the methodology to get the organization to the desired end-state (excellence), a 'Learning Organization' in the post-industrial, K Age. 

Give attention to getting the word out, to basic awareness training.  But, pay particular attention to expanding engagement and to continuously creating 'quick wins' (aka KM Squirrels™).  Document a track record of increasing KWer engagement and convincing, tangible successes.
