(Washington DC - October 14, 2013) KM Institute, the global leader in Knowledge Management Certification and Training, announced today the newest addition to its faculty, acclaimed expert in Taxonomy, Mr. Zach Wahl.
 

Wahl, who is CEO of Washington DC-based consultancy Enterprise Knowledge, has been a featured guest speaker in KMI’s Certified Knowledge Manager program for over a year, as well as a featured speaker at KMI’s new “KM Solutions Showcase™.”
 

“We are very excited to officially add Zach to our team,” says Douglas Weidner, Chairman of KM Institute.  “He brings many years of Taxonomy experience to our repertoire, as both a successful practitioner and instructor.  We know our students will benefit greatly from his teachings.”
 

Wahl agreed, “I am thrilled to be partnering with KMI to provide taxonomy design instruction and services.  This is a great union of two organizations that focus on business value and practical KM.”
 

Wahl already conducts a popular 2-day course: “The Taxonomy Master Class” and mentors clients for in-house workshops and taxonomy design services.
 

In development is the new Certified Knowledge Specialist – Taxonomy, a 4-day + e-learning Certification program, combining the core of KMI's CKM program with a “deep dive” into Taxonomy solutions.  First class: Feb 3-6, 2014, in Reston, VA.
 

The Wahl/KMI partnership comes at an important juncture for KMI, as it adds a new consulting arm focused on specialized areas such as Taxonomy. Wahl will be showcased as a member of the new KMI Consuting Team, along with select other SMEs/instructors.
